I have decided to scrap the power steering but what do i do. Do i just cut the lines from the pump or just let it dangle? What should I do?

The power steering pump doesn't fit with the a/c in there. Rather have A/C.

I'll trade you my non powered 89 civic hb rack and pinion for your powered rack and stering pump. I dont have AC but I would like power steering for auto crossing. B20vtec

you have any idea how much it sucks to pull power steering out? been there and done that with a sedan.
there isn't really a just "cut" method about it. you must pull out and replace the crossmember and the rack & pinion as it's a different set-up for non power steering.
it is a lot of work pulling it out...but if you do it's worth $100-200 to resell

OK, I guess I would need to throw in the crossmember also. I guess you could find a buyer and sell it. And then locate a non powered one and purchase it. Or we could just trade and we would both be getting what we needed without having to sell and buy.

yeah it is a lot of work i took out my non power rack and slapped in a powered rack. only four bolts from the bottom. but theres a lot more to it than that. make sure you go and get an alinement after the change. i went through a new pair of tires in 6 weeks because my alinement was so foar out of wack
