how hard is it to custom make a system like the one at www.ststurbo.com ... this system installs near the muffler, eliminating the need for intercoolers, piping, and insulation. they use t3 turbos, and claim 70% power increases.. i wanna know from any of u turbo gurus here, if its possible for me to make a system like that, becuz i have a t3 turbo, and may be able to fabricate somethin up if its not too difficult.

That system has been discussed in this thread (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=147894), take a look, I'm sure you'll find it useful.

I've said it before, this is a really good example how not to do.
The pulse charging method used in all automobiles and trucks should have the smallest volume possible between the turbocharger and the exhaust valves. Hot exhaust is also to prefer as they contains more energy. The piping on the compressor side should also be kept as low as possible as it increase lag time and of course pressure loss.
An intercooler should always be used with turbocharging, even with low boost pressures. An intercooler also decrease the energy needed to compress the air.
