Windows 93 SL1

I'm having a serious problem with my windows, it started when i bought the car that my passenger window had real problems going up and my drivers side had problems going down. Well now the passenger window is fine (don't ask me why or how) and the drivers side goes down fine and is a REAL PAIN to go up.
How do I go about fixing this? some people say i should just smear grease on the window, but obviously i don't want to do that.... maybe some good instructions on how i should take off the door panel.
