Front End noises

I have a 2000 Windstar, and lately it has started to squeak really bad in the front end when I turn the wheel. It will do this moving and also while stopped. It sounds like two pieces of rubber squeaking. Had tie rods and everything checked out, and all is nice and tight. Any ideas? Is there a TSB on this?

Go in and grease the heck out of those tie rods and ball joints, might need to get a grease needle since they are probably sealed. I have a 95 and was doing the same thing, but resolved it using a grease gun with a needle attachment.

$2.99 at Autozone for the needle, and that fixed it!! Just hope water don't get inside and shorten the life up!

RTV Silicone the answer to all your sealing problems! Cover the hole up with a little dab of that, and if you need to regrease em just peel the silicone away.

Hey, well how do I get the grease in to the joint?? I bought a needle, but the CV grease comes in a pouch, not a tube which is needed for the grease gun. How did you get the grease in? I would appreciate your help! Thanks

I honestly can't say I've done this. I have access to grease guns with needle fittings and would squirt any old kind of AeroShell into my boots if I needed to. Sorry I can't be more help. Only think I can think of is buy a tiny grease gun, put needle fitting on, pack grease gun with cv joint grease. Pep Boys sells the small grease guns around here. Hope that help.
