Looks prettey much like the heater core is leaking.
I have no idea how to get to it. Is this a dash baord removal problem?

It may be under the dash, I don't know for sure. But check on the firewall, there may be a bolt-in unit that you can get to from that side; if not you may be able to reach it under the dash, w/o removing, but that is a back/neck/wrist bending enterprise.

Of course, if you live far south enough, just take the output for the heater from the water pump and loop it back to the input, making a closed circuit and eliminating the core altogether. No heat that way, but you'll have time to work on it...if it's warm enough.

You have to remove the dash to get at it. I am doing this as we speak.

Hi parker1963,

Check out this post (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=2786723) on how to change your heater core. A lot more information there.
