Man this really stinks of a Prank.
a few years ago a country radio station in birmingham and a rap station both told their listeners they are changing their formats....they started about a week before april 1st talking about it and occassionally the country station would play a rap song to mix the listeners up. the rap station did the same. by the end of the week they had completely changed over and then on midnight of april fools day they told everyone.
Very bad joke, very very very bad joke!

I cant really belive this if its so illegal isnt there gonna be a court date? Can we help by each posting member give atleast 5 bucks so we can get a good lawyer? Also to my understanding if the sponcer wanted to sponcer them they took the risk of giving them parts!

well two things:

1) Oz is from Australia.. it IS april 1 in Australia right now

2) if AF is 15,000 in the hole.. its not inconceivable that we can get 150 members each contributing $100.. after all we have thousands of members..

do they pay for the fourms or what is going on with allt he money? whats is it for? why do they owe so much

well yea but 15,000$ a domain name is cheap webhosting is not that much, i sure someone can transfer the site like Vric or start new ones

I don't see how Igor could not know there was some legal thing going on. And if it's illegal aren't you innocent until proven guilty? Also weird that one day everything's fine but the day before April Fools you get some type of letter saying you owe us 15k so you got till the weekend to get out of here. I think it is a joke but its not going to be officially announced until a couple days after April Fools so that the members really get tricked. If it's not a joke I'm sure the members here can make 15k for AF in less then one day, seeing the response this is getting.

I pm'd igor about a month ago asking about donating and he replied telling me that no donations were needed. Now were 15,000 in the hole, someone must have dropped the ball pretty hard there.

HA As if AF is in any Financial problems, there have been so much god damn advertising on this site lately that it is unbelievable. How can a project car would cause major legal problems? A website cannot owe money to it's sponsers, again, how can AF be in any financial problems? over 150,000 members and such a massive bandwidth would not cause a smart sponser to pull out.
Personally I don't care if AF does even get shut down because it is only a website, a good website but only a website. But I have to add that
