Last week I decided to start on this kit again and I noticed one of the front wheels was not centered/concentric. It looked a bit weird so I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to try to make a copy of it. If it didnt' work oh well... I finally bit the bullet this weekend and spent all day yesterday working on them.

Let me just say that air bubbles are a pain! I finally got two good front rims and two good rear rims out of a batch of upwarsd of 15 tries. It wasn't that the castings were really bad but the five lugnuts on the face of the rim didn't show up as tiny airbubbles got trapped in there. So I was left with over ten 'dropouts'. I decided to play with them and resurface the lugnut area and put in a single lug pattern on the rim. I think I like it alot better than the five lug pattern. It would've been much easier to cast as well. What do you guys think?

Wow! Thats all i have to say ! Well you could have done some extended lug nuts to hide the air holes? But i do like how it looks with the single lug nut:thumbsup:

Got a chance to work on the rear bumper. Will have to put some primer on it eventually to check for problem areas. I'm too lazy right now to spray anything so I'll put it off unitl next time. For about two to three hours of work (excluding putty curing time), I'm fairly happy with how it turned out.

So often I get disappointed when I open your thread, only to find that someone bumped it and there's no real update. How much better it is to see that you're actually back, making updates, working on your cars, and keeping us all on the edge of our seat! It's looking great, I can't wait to see what's next.

Looks top! :grinyes:
Great bodywork, I had the same idea with these little RPF1s but you did it much better as I wanted to.:)
