Motor and Tranny Mounts

I had my '93 SC2 in earlier yesterday to do a fuel system cleaning and was told that I need to have the motor and transmission mounts checked. What is happening is when revving the engine in gear, the engine shakes. However when it's in neutral, it revs fine. I guess I'm looking to see how easy it is to check the mounts and about how much to replace them if necessary.

The monts are VERY easy to change. The top mount is 5 bolts total. cost about 40 bucks. the bottom mount is also 5 boltsbut you will need to remove the passenger sidewheel well first.cost also about 40 buckaroos.

there is another mount identical to the one behind the wheel, it's under the battery and to get to it you have to remove the air intake.

Speaking of mounts... my Twistec aluminum/polyurethane mounts have been good for transferring torque to the road, but the other day I was driving around and one of the end-links broke. Not enough to drop the engine out the bottom (thank God), but enough to where I had to change it out right there on the side of the highway in Austin, TX. Luckily, I had my old mounts in the trunk. Has this ever happened to anybody else?
