Timing belt cover

So is the timing belt cover necessary? Pros and cons to having it off? Mine's broken and looks like it might fall off soon..

You should run with it on. It provides protection against debris like rocks, canoes, and such. Get one in the junkyard for a couple of bucks. GL

Yeah it's a tragedy when the canoes get in there. I was on the streets driving and a canoe came off of its trailer ahead of me and almost got stuck but i swerved around it and showed the canoe who was boss...then I hit the telephone poll and totaled my car :rofl:
