Hi
Here is my new project.. as all my lastest one, it will take lot of time
I started giving shape to the car. I have no real idea for this one, I just try and doing it if it look good.
So if you have any idea before I start the putty work, it's the time
So Far I have Wide fenders, New Front bumper, and small side mod.
I magicly lost the hard top.. I can't belive this, I looked everywhere and can't find it.. so if anyway have one and don't use it, you could make my day

here is a litle update about the Hood
I started to make a new one (as suggested)
I'm not 100% happy with the result, but for first shape built, it's kinda ok.
If you have any idea to make this baby better, I'm still not at the putty stage
http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/502/296113.jpg
http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/500/296114.jpg
btw, damn it's slow to upload in the gallery.. took me 20 minutes for 2 picture..... ZZZzzzz....

im loving it so far, ive never really fully undertood using styrene to shape the car like that, but it seems to work a lot better than not using it

Hi
As you see on picture, I already widen the front fenders a second time (2 pieces of styrene) not sure about the back one.
What you guy think ? should I widen the rear fenders even more ?

not much to update.
I widen the rear fenders and started the putty work for the front fenders.
Now I'm thinking to buy a SAS hood, since I really don't like mine.

Hi
Here is an update. I started the putty work. It's 2 coat of putty.. Usually, I make 5 to 7 coat to be happy with the result.. so it's very early stage.
Only the fenders was wonked, don't look at the front bumber since the work is about 5% done
Rear fenders are widen as requested.
Overal, it's quite smooth and may get a perfect look in about 3 coat of putty for the right fenders and 5 for the left one.
http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/502/296115.jpg
Here is the overal look.. once again, don't look the front bumper.
http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/502/296116.jpg
I ordered a SAS Hood, so I will not work anymore on mine
the model look durty isn't it :cwm27:

The reason why you dont understand the word lovers, is because I meant loovers. I made a typo, sorry. Im talking about the little slits in the hood.
Thanks for the link. Have you ever used SAS CF? Which do you think is better. The stuff you used looks superb, but a little more expensive.

haha, now I know what loovers are :cwm27:
Yes I did use the SAS CF one (If you look my gallery, you will see it on my Yellow Supra) It's very good stuff (like everything Chris make) But Museum Collection is very close to it.. base silver decal like SAS, it's just a bit cheaper. but if it would be the same price, I would go with SAS.

Styrene are sheets of plastic
look at the first page, first picture to see what I added.. it's only styrene
it's very usefull to shape your mod, then add putty after
