comments anyone ?

Can I say that the model will be PERFECT if you could add panel lines to both front and rear bumpers

molded style looks a bit far from what you have expected out of this right?

just my little comments, plz take it easy

Not at all.. front bumper actually look better than I was expecting, the rest is what I was thinking.

for panel line, it's the 3rd time I try to make them, can't seem to get them right

Update:
I did the panel Line for front bumper.. rear is just too hard, and since Hiroboy didn't make them on his wonderfull Celica, I say no way :D

The body was primered for the first time today.. will take picture later. (will leave it drying in the microwave for a while) For what I can see, there is not much imperfection on the putty work :D

I cant wait to see new pics! Also, did you put a sign on the microwave saying "Do Not Touch!", I know people whose models were melted by someones foolishness. Dont ask how, there are some weird people in this world.

I was thinking about that yea, but the only engin block I have is a Chevy one.. so it will be curbside

paint is done (I usually don't wait very long with Tamiya Primer)

It's Bright Red.. I will post pic once it's fully dry (currently in microwave again)

Panel line looks really good. Bright Red sounds really good. I cannot wait to see this car.

BTW how long did you wait to paint after priming?

I'm not by the book :cwm27:
I go with my personal experience

Tamiya White primer usualy dry in 20 minutes so

First Coat of primer
wait 30 minutes
Second Coat of primer
wait 30 minutes
Last coat of primer
wait 6 hours
sanding a bit with 1500grin
First coat of paint
wait 20 minutes
Second coat of paint (Wet coat for this one)
leave it in the microwave for the next 24 hours

So all in all less than 8 hours for primer and paint. got good result with that. This morning it was the primer then this evening it was paint.

but this is only with tamiya primer and paint.. if i use something other, then I will wait longer (testor, even if i don't use this anymore, could need over 12 days for the damn primer to dry, and over 24h for the paint)

for what I can see on the microwave, this one will not need much polishing to get good result (polishing I wait at least 5 days)

Looking great Vric!!! Is there a wing/spoiler that you are putting on it? I cant wait to see it with the hood!

What rims are you using on it?

Yes, there will have a Gt Wing.. a bit like the C-West one..

as for the rims, I have no aftermarket one.. so it will be the gold one that came with the kit. :disappoin

Great choice of wing! The CWest wing looks great on S2K's

Ever think of modifying the rims? It would be a late project but would look great!

BTW, you have some very nice models on your site. I especally like the silver enzo. Keep up the good work, we already know this is going to be another stunner!

Haha I did that on my RX-8 (Scratchbuilt rims) Took me 2 weeks and i wasn't happy with the result.. I won't try this again for a while haha

anyway, with the wide fenders, there were a bit smaller than before, so the suplyed rims fit perfectly in it. I will need to work on the suspention to make it fit right.

for the wing, I have the first and second one left:

I think using the seconds one (on the red car)

Sorry for bad picture, the paint is too shiny and my camera got hard time to get the detail at low light like this. Also the light is yellowish. so it turn the color to orange. At least, it give you a good idea.

There's some killer bodywork, Vric, and the color is slick as hell. There's a pile of S2000's being built right now, and this is my favorite I think.

well the real color is more red than this.. as I sayd, it's my light that was yellowish so it turn red to orange.

now that should bring on some comment

Once again, poor light don't give the real color.
There is some strange light effect, the paint is real smooth

Thanks again WIllimo for the hardtop !
