Can anyone tell me how to turn/twist/rotate the tranny to get it out. I've got everything out of the way (CV's, driver's side strut and wheel assembly, sway bar, tranny/motor mount, and engine is jacked up slightly on tranny side) and I can't seem to find an angle that will allow me to get the tranny out.

Boy, do I feel like an amateur. Oh, right. I am.

I kinda had the same problem, but i dont know if it is urs. Did you remove the four bolts from the torque converter and the flex plate, thru the little tin access panel at the bottom of the engine, other than that it should slide out, when you pull it off try to pull it off parallel with the angel of the engine, it might just be binding on something

sorry detroit, he has a manual trans, no torque convertior.

the transmission does not need completely removed, just moved over a few inches, you can find a few how-tos on saturnfans.com

i assume you have already removed the bellhousing to engine bolts and the lower support brace?
