96 SL2 misfire

1996 SL2, misfire on #1 cylinder. Plugs are new, wires are new. I swapped two injectors, misfire still in #1 cylinder. Misfire is mostly at idle. I am thinking the coil is bad but the spark seems strong when I pull the #1 wire off. I haven't done a compression check yet, I will tomorrow. Any ideas?????

definitely do the compression test. it could be almost anything, though.
