i always wondered why do you v8 guys always look down on that wing. i hope you guys know that the wing on the evo is actually functional. and when your taking turns at over 130mph that are sharp you can actually feel the rear end stay planted. sheeesh why can't you guys figure out that you need downforce when your cornering at high speeds. and yes i know it does work becusae my friend has a evo 8 and a STi and it works. since you got the car, i hope you no longer look down on the wing becusae you will feel it working. please do not confuse the rear wing the ones found on most civics that only cause drag. if you do get a chance to drive an evo without hte wing. you will feel a different in the rear grip.

yes i know the wing is functional as are all wings.....but only at certain speeds! my 97 z28 has a 3 inch spoiler (the stock spoiler) and i forget how you calculate it but those larg wings wont have a good effect is any unless your going over 100 mph...but who here goes over 100 mph :icesangel :evillol:

Hey 2000LS1Z28, I was too lazy to read though all the pages of the thread.. but just wanted to congratulate you on the new car! I'm a big fan.

Self, I had no problem going from my 5.0 to the m3... even though the m3 totally doesnt have the low end torque. Maybe it's just because the m3 is better in every other way. haha..
