95 would be LT-1 and there so so motors imo LS1 is the real monster. But i really love both so i can't say whats better. sure you can get more outta a big motor but isn't tweaking the living hell outta a tiny lil tourqe less motor so much that it runs with a vette just as sweet? ever see an LT-1 race an LS-1 thats part of reason me i'm used to LT-1s in the caprices and there nothting too fancy. Crown vics with that police pakage are quicker. *done some tests lol*
I've driven them in camaros also still nothing to fancy stock.
This is what i feel about them. Now fact wise i can't really knock it due to i'm not an expert about them.

I just got my windows shattered for no apparent reason, and Im tired of it, its already gotten stolen once, shit thrown on it, and people always try and stare me down, for NO reason, not to mention its only got 4 cylinders to work with... Im with Nobu and Ricochet. Ive had my eyes on the LS1 since I first learned of it in a buddies Trans Am awhile back. I like Camaros even better, so Ive decided thats what I want.

ALL HAil the LS1!!!!!!!!!! They are wicked fast right out of the box. I am definately pleased with mine and it is also my second f body.

damn that was a lot of reading to do. I haven't seen carrrrrrnut post on these boards for a while. However anyone takes it, there will always be import v. domestic aslong as there are imports and domestics.

I myself am not really into bigger vehicles like the camaros and mustangs. But I love the SRT-4 and wouldn't mind owning one at all. Some people just have bad experiences with certain cars.

My dad owned domestics for the better part of his lifetime until he got his Mazda PU back in 92. After that he swore the only domestic he would ever consider buying again would be the early 70's Nova that he had once owned. Said that was the most stout vehicle he has ever owned. The reason for his turn around has been that his PU has now seen 200K on factory everything. Motor, tranny, hell, even clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, throwout bearing, everything. And this truck gets the shit beat out of it, it is a complete work horse and has been one reliable vehicle.

We now have a complete fleet of a variety of imports. My dad's Mazda PU, Honda Odyssey, Kia Sephia and my Nissan Sentra (RIP to my Civic). All of our vehicles have been good to us and no one in my family would ever think about turning away from imports. Although, I don't know if I can consider the Kia an import since I am Korean lol.
