Metallica will definately end up in the R n R Hall of Fame. But for their older stuff. They have now(thanks to Lars) become huge sell outs. And while I'm not positive, I think Lars is a big reason as to why Jason left the band.

There are great bands all over America, Europe, and South America (especially Brazil). And of course there are the shitty bands all over the world too.

The bells are two different pitches, go for different lengths of time, and FWtBT, has a BASS centered intro with the guitars providing the riff. Not to mention, the intro for hells bells is <60bpm, while FWtBT is at 120.

Ok.. well.., to put it simply.. the bells are the only thing that are similar for both songs. And that's it. The metallica song is going twice as fast as the AC/DC song. The metallica song's intro is centered on the bass, the AC/DC song is not. The metallica song is primarily E anf F#'s, while the AC/DC is A minors. Did you also miss the point of how metallica's song is about the book "For Whom the Bell Tolls" by Ernest Hemingway? and the AC/DC song is... not.

Just admit that except for both songs having the world "bell" in the title and having a bell playing in the first few seconds, they are NOTHING alike.

I really don't care if you hate Metallica, just don't make outrageous claims as to where they get the music from.

Rock and roll may be American music, but rock music is not. Rock basically grew up in England, what with the Beatles, Clapton, Rolling Stones, Hendrix, the Yardbirds, not mention all of the British invasion bands coming out of England in the early to mid 60's.
