Ok started to put pieces together.. not really working on the body yet, still needs panel lines, bmf treatment and details, etc.. but test fitting never hurts right?

was working on the half opened rag top.. this is also likely to be the final pose.. all low on four corenrs, with the front being slightly elevated.

That is amazing. The rag top. the interior, the chassis. Everything has so much detail that some of the pics look like you took pics of a real car. Can't wait to see it done. The paint seems to get sweeter and sweeter everytime I see it.

Thanks, the rag top is an experiment. I used actual fabric and metal rods to make it sort of functional.

paint brush and red paint :)

I tried all other methods like soaker red string in CA and applying it, but this was my artistic licence of "free handing" it... came out ok, not too clean, but not too bad I think.

I finsihed BMFing the body.. man I forget what I royal pain it is to do a large body Chevy!

also applied the decals... still need to put mirrors, wipers and door locks/door handles.
