Valentines Day

It's better to ask someone out *after* Valentines day.

Does anyone have any ideas on what to get a mother on Valentine's Day?

Probably flowers or you could take her out to eat one night.

Partly that, but moreso because I feel it's much more meaningful to give someone a gift and tell them "I love you" out of the blue. Valentines Day feels like an obligation.

valentines day sucks without someone to share it with.....my bf just recently broke up with me....Superbowl Sunday (what a shocker)....we were dating for 2 years and he told me 2 years ago that he'd propose to me on Valentines Day 2 years from then....well that would have been THIS year eh? argh its taking forever to get over him....

I bought "somebody" a ring and a personal letter. :)

And also got a few things for a few other people I know, friends of mine, to let them know Im thinking of them.

You two broke up on Superbowl Sunday and you think these few days is "taking forever?" You have a stronger backbone than I do, hell my ex broke up with me 5 months ago and I'm still not over her. I broke down and made her a Valentines Day gift....I'm still whipped even though we're not going out. :disappoin
