i see this site does get a lot of action but; HAS ANYONE FOUND OUT THEIR CAM TIMING WAS OFF FROM THE FACTORY? shot in the dark

Hmmm........not very likely, but could be possible. If it was out even one tooth on one cam, you'd notice quite a difference in driveability!!

my dad's is a full 1-1.2 seconds slow 0-60 mph ??? you can feel torque
band start then the computer shifts and you feel it start to come on and it shifts again :screwy:

Unlikely that the cam timing is off but would not hurt to check it. You can also put a vacuum gauge on car, if cam is out vac will not be what it should at idle.

they have put 20k on in and it's out of warrenty now
