Two CDs stuck in player?!?!?
We have a 1999 Windstar van with the premium radio/tape/CD player, the one with the slot-loader CD.
There was already a CD in the player and the kid inserted a second CD on top of the first one. Surprisingly, the player accepted both and now NEITHER will eject.
I have tried the normal "first thoughts" ideas like reaching in the slot with tweezers and needle-nose pliers. No joy. EJECT button does not work. I see no indication of a manual release.
Surely we are not the first to have this problem... does anyone have a solution short of paying a mechanic to disassemble the player and remove them?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Why not remove them yourself?
The unit removes from the car very easily. From there it would be a snap to disassemble the CD player and remove the discs.
Let the mechanics work on your engine

As I suggested earlier. Remove the unit from the vehicle and take it into a workbench. It removes very easily. Then disassemble the unit and you will find the loading mechanism where the 2 CDs are.
If you are not comfortable doing this yourself then you will have to take it in.

Been there, done that, just on a Ford player. Basically like DRW said, pull the unit and open 'er up.
You will likely only need to pull the outer shell and then work the discs out one at a time. Trying not to damage them while you work is the hardest part :)
