I pwned an SRT-4

Dude.. after reading the past 4 pages... I figured it out... The reason the SRT4 had such a bad start was not because he was spinning the tires. That newb stalled the freaking car!

That, or ECOTEC was lieing about being stock and was actually using NAWWWZZZZZZ.

The problem I have is that he is confident that his car can take or hang with the SRT-4 in the 1/4. And also he thinks he can take on 5.0's and firebirds in a stock cavy. It is like thinking that you can take an ITR in a Civic DX completely stock, it just does not happen!!! :2cents:

hmm someone needs to visit the track, I thought my 2.8 in my fiero was a low 14 second car. I ran off a 15.1@89 granted that was my first time at the track probably could've squeaked off a 14.9 at best.

or you either raced a neon that was made to look like an SRT4, I have people tell me all the time mine isn't a formula :thumbsdow *rolls eyes* and that I stuck firebird formula stickers on the side.

I mean maybe he messed up the launch bad and couldn't drive the car for crap? Freeway rolling that turbo would be a beast! and unless he was in 5th or something it would've been real ugly.

Whys the cavalier so bad? I mean someone talks about a fast cav and everyone is like "your wasting your time" or "it’s slow". Well lots of people mod civics and their just as slow and have smaller motors. Now I wouldn't get a cav but hey I wouldn't get a civic either just not my thing but, my point is any car can be fast, just look at the 2003 SCC September issue. Their are two very nice cavs in there and the people didn't go broke making them fast. So hey it’s got hope. Now as to thinking you can hang with a 5.0 or SRT stock! in a straight line...don't even kid your self ECOTEC. You got lucky with the SRT this time but don't expect it to happen again. Your car just is not fast enough stock. A second or two may not sound like a lot but will in a race it looks like bus lengths. So good race, now go mod your car before Carrrnuttt and 90redgt make you look like a foul.

I dont believe either. I raced an SRT4 in my fiances V6 tiburon w/intake prob. 170hp and I got pulled on hard, really sad. No way a Cav came close. always remember...You can buy emblems at the dealership

Come people how is it so hard to see an SRT losing in a 1/8? If the guy fucked his launch bad then it could happen. And like all of you say the SRT is a beast on the top end which is way it is so good from a roll. So the guy blows his launch RPMs drop causeing the car to bog and the race is over before SRT can put a bad spanking on him. I mean how long is a 1/8 mile race? 10secs? give or take. Doesnt seem to hard for me to believe.
even with a bad launch, the srt4 would more than catch you by the 1/8 mile.
for a car that's running almost 14 flat, your 1/8th is going to be less than 10 by far... a 10 second 1/8th is a mid 15's car...

See thats why I suggested that the SRT4 stalled, then had to restart the car and go again. wait.. he possibly coulda stalled twice.. ahahhahahahha

No...Corky gassed it up right before the race. That's why the dead hooker was on the hood. Long story. Anyways...this just proves that nobody should fuck with a "j" body.
