In this thread Xbox, won. Read a few pages and you'll see that all the arguments supporting the xbox prove the system is better, the games on the other hand. Can GT compete with The chronicals of riddick? NO, if u say it can your not doing any research. Chronicals is the most advanced game to ever come out on any platform ever created.

I think its pretty obvious that the Xbox has the faster chipsets in it, and rated on pure spec its the better system. But then its a lot newer and it should be.
However in the world of gaming systems it dosn't mean shit.
Its the games that make the system, not how much memory and MHz the system has.
Sony know this and so leave the source code to the PS2 open, ANYONE can write a game for the PS2 and market it. Sony will give you the source code and basic surport needed, and if they like the concept enough they will go even further and help you develop and maket it as well.
Micosoft however keep all thier game development in-house. To make a game for the Xbox you have to be part of a Micosoft owned publisher.
This of course serisouly limits the number of people making games, and the level of creativity they can express.
If you want to use the internet buy a Computer.
If you want to watch DVDs buy a DVD player.
If you want to play games buy a Play Station 2.
If you want a heavy piece of plastic and metal with a big X on the top to sit under your TV buy an Xbox.

Xbox has better games, ex Chronicals of Riddick, Halo ...... also any actually good game that was ever created on both platforms like vice city for example is always better on the xbox. Yes the games come out for ps2 first(usually) but like 2 weeks later they come out on xbox with better graphics engines and sound quality. Moppie your a dumbass, if you were going to buy a car, would you buy one thats faster and more technologicly advanced and more reliable or another car thats half as fast and looks like crap run over, twice thats just got cooler people driving it, the analogy i'm trying to get at is like cars its not whos driving its the preformance of the car that will in the long run win out. ps2 competing against xbox is like beating up a retard, even when you win you still feel stupid. Sorry about the bad run-on sentences, but i'm tired of all this crap.
