It's really hard to believe we're actually looking at an 1/24 model! I've never thought a Ford Capri could make my eyes so round!...
Thanks for showing us it's possible!

Wow! I hadn't seen this thread until today. Great work! Your attention to detail is fantastic. I do have a question about paint though...is it all assembled and your painting after assembly or are you just test fitting?

Buit in all seriousness, this is still one of my favorite builds on the forums. The detail and the accuracy is just boggling.

There's a kind of magic seeing this model taking shape!... It looks like the 1:1 car cannot be more detailed...
Where have you found those nice PE mesh?
Apart from that, no comment neither: I'm just staying in front of my computer's screen, mouth opened and eyes round... Just like that:

Did i lready say that i simply love this model ;)

labandabonnot

The mods on the front hood seem to be the most understandable... But the rear hood!!! How did you make it? Is it primed, or is it "just" styrene sheet made? Its fit looks perfect! One can believe it's easy, just looking at the pics. But it must have taken a lot of time (and skills) to achieve!!!

... Each update is another  (no word for it)!...

My feeling is that this level of detail and accuracy can be seen usualy on 1:8 metal hand made models, it's the first time I see something looking so real on a 1/24 plastic model!

Thanks for sharing the steps of this wonderfull build!

Completely insane...
Why did you buy the kit if you're building a new one ? For the roof and tyres ?
I love it.

I love seeing models in these stages of completion. Paint hides how much work goes into them, and here you can see it all.

Anyone got any smelling salts...?

I'm not entirely sure this can be called a model anymore...maybe a "small scale replica" would be a better term to describe all the work and talent you've shown so far!

Work? Psh... he's got a half dozen little men genetically engineered to be 1:24 scale and work as his build team.

Seriously, that's beautiful. Is that front end strong at all? I can't really see much holding it on.... Do you hold your breath throughout construction?

This must be the most thrilling work in progress I´ve ever seen.

Kurtl, one question: do you ever make mistakes? (I mean, in measuring and gluing those little parts... please say yes!! I even can´t get to glue right the rear wing on my Panoz)

Now I know why I don't have much modelling skills... they´ve been all handed over to you!
