I just installed a remote starter on this vehicle following all the proper procedures, including using a test light on all circuits prior to wire tapping. Upon completion everything worked fine until I tried to turn on the turn signals. What to do? No blown fuses or anything else obvious.

Hi Tom,
not to be flippant, but did you check the bulbs? No filament, no signal. Not likely for them both to fail together under normal situation, but after doing some electrical work you never know (I spent the whole day trying to find a perceived electrical problem on my new exterior house lighting only to find that all the bulbs in the fixture fried at the same time).Do the other items on the multifunction switch work?, ie washer, wipers, high beam etc? Do the turn signal lamps illuminate, but no flash?-there should be a flash unit that produces the on/off.
Let me know what you find. I'll take a look at my manual tomorrow. It's late.
Best of luck.
