Question. Do they let you run around with no license plate on your front bumper?
j.fuggi
12-21-2001, 04:06 PM
i think its against the law actually. i have no holes for screws and i don't plan on drilling any. i've been stopped before. the cop walked around the front... stared at the lower front portion of my car, and asked me to turn on my driving light (that don't work) and he didn't say a word bout the licence plate. but i have a 2nd plate handy

thanks... i love how people here have nice things to say. i go to school with a class full of domestic loving lunatics who rag on my honda all day. even my stupid math teacher fights with me. shes like.. a corvette will wreck any import. and i start yelling... civic is economy, and are turned into big balled sport cars.. and i agree that a civic will still probably lose but then i bring up the actual sport car imports. like rx7, supra, nsx, and she still wont believe it.
people talk all this shit about imports sucking, and civics and whatnot, but take a look at the domestics.. civic vs escort = economy civic vs mustang = economy vs muscle. mustangs are the high powered cars as fords .. i'm rambling but i hope you get the point. it just pisses me off.
of course an 8cyl will beat a 4, but no one understands forced induction, and whatnot. grrrr lol sorry

hah.. you summed it up for me. i was looking for that phrase.
i think its really funny how they do that though... its even funnier when you see their face after getting spanked by an econobox!

I'm not sure it would be a DIY job...

Thanks, I had just found your link above.
You have a red plastic LED cover. Thake that off and see that color the actual LEDs are inside. If they're white, you just need to find a clear or milky-translucent white cover. If they're red, you're screwed, unless you want to dig into the LED assembly and change them one by one...

not a bad idea. but i have the motorskills of a 2month old. i'd end up just playing in plexiglass shavings. after i put them in to the grinding wheel in my garage.

That looks really nice man. But what 2 vents couldn't you get off (or have you figured that out already?) But, yeah, that looks hot, and hella clean.
Also, do you ever go to the Manchester Motorsports shows during the summer?? Considering your from CT and all.

They are in Manchester. They are pretty big too, some real nice cars.
Great summer series. Plus the parts shop has big discounts during the shows. So you get decent deals on everything from knobs to superchargers!
