2000 Windstar Pulls Right Accelerating

Any idea folks? Van goes nice & straight cruising at any speed, goes straight while braking, but pulls fairly 'hard' to right only when accelerating.
43,000 miles, Tire pressure OK, newer brake pads - rotors were not turned - maybe a clue?
My wife drives this van and I can not say if it suddenly starting happening or grew worse over time. Confirmed problem by driving a neighbor's 2000 Windstar - and it does not exhibit the same pull.

My '99 same situation, 2 causes, 1 it's normal torque. it will do this more notably on wet pavement. #2 I replaced pads and just sanded rotors. BIG MISTAKE. I had noises galore and pulling all the time. I would suggest new pads and rotors. Real easy to replace, well worth the peace of mind as to no pulling.

This situation is called "Torque Steer." This happens with most FWD vehicles. However, it should not be a "hard" pull to the right, just a slight pull when nailing the van from a stop and continuing straight.
I hope this infomation helped.
