How Do U Get Off A Shift Knob On A Sl-2

Yo guys i dont know how to get my shift knob off my car and i was wondering if anyone has gotten it off without taking to whole shifter out

Dude. very simple. If its manual, put it into either 2nd or 4th and just lift off. you may need to pull rather hard, but it just clips in there. good luck

dude, just cut it iff with a saw and make it a short shifter, thats what i did!!!!!!!!!!!!
