Alternator

Hey guys, newbie here. I had purchased a '93 SC2 1.9DOHC last February and one month had gone by and the alternator died. No biggie, got it replaced. However, the alternator just died today. Would the ABS or cooling fan have anything to do with wearing down an alternator? When the ABS engages, the lights dim considerably and the car almost stalls. Also, the way the dealership I got the car from, had wired the cooling fan to come on automatically when the car it started. Also, I'm getting code 26 with the check engine light on. The Chilton's book says Quad Module Failure, which I haven't a clue what that means. The ECM has been replaced with a used working ECM - same s/n and everything. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks a bunch,
Josh

finally got my prob fixed. replaced the alternator about a week ago, it lasted two days, and went out again. kind of upset with the dealership...they said it wasn't the alternator and to take it to an electrical specialist. took it to a diff mechanic, it was the alternator.
