My son purchased a 1992 SC 5 speed... high mileage.
Any know if the clutch is adjustable? My experience with standard transmissions on several cars tells me that its worn and beginning to slip. I'd like to get a few more miles before a major clutch overhaul.
Anyone have a clutch job done on an SC recently and know the cost?

i had my clutch replaced a few months ago in my 94 sc1, cost 350$ i think, but then again they already had my car up replacing the engine so it was convient for them. not sure what it would have been otherwise ? not sure about adjusting.

I have just changed my clutch in my driveway two weeks ago on my 92 Saturn SC (1.9L DOHC). The clutch and bearing cost me about CAD $200. You don't even need to take the engine out.
