ignition coil - where is it?

like the subject says, i'm looking for the ignition coil, i'm installing a remote starter and i need to find the Tachometer wire specifically, if anyone knows where the ignition coil is or even an easier way to tap into the tach wire. please respond, thanks

'98> Yellow/white @ coil
'89> Green/yellow @ plug at distributor
