Hello Everyone,
I recently replaced the front brakes on my Saturn SL1. About a month later the front right brake began making a grinding sound when the brakes were applied. The sound is heard at the same tempo as the wheel is turning. No vibration is felt on the pedal and the car stops fine so I don't think its anything major. I've had the tire off 3 or 4 times looking for the smoking gun, but everything (rotor, pads, etc.) look Ok...
Any Ideas?
Thanks!
Clay

im a newbie but have been replacing brakes pc by pc on my 96 sat sl2..the brak setup is a very economical one as far as parts and design..i mean the design is typical but i notice a problem with pads wearing inconsistantly no matter how much time and effort you put into it..compare the brake system to that of a mid grade car and you will see how flimsy these saturn makes are designed not to mention torch every bolt prior to removal because over time they rust tight and the head because soft as butter.
