The problem we are having appears to be intermitant. The SES light comes on but there generally isn't any apparent problem. But on occaision the car has failed to start but will after trying for a bit. Until a couple days ago then it would not start at all. It turns over and the lights work and all that so the battery is fine. I checked the spark plug wires and found a couple to be bad so I replaced them all. Then it started just fine. Now this morning it was back to starting hard again. Appears to only happen when it's a cold morning. If it wasn't fuel injected I'd supsect the choke as that's how it reacts but since it doesnt have one then I'm at a loss. It was at the dealers about two weeks ago and they found a couple problems but nothing that seemed to affect this. I'll have to go pull the paperwork to tell you what they found but they seemed minor. Any ideas what I should check next? Thanks in advance.

May have it. pulled the spark plug wires off the towers and tried to start it. Should get a spark accross the towers but didn't get anything. Checked the coils and they were okay. No blown fuses either. That pretty much narrowed it down. Finally located the cps (crankshaft position sensor), it should read 700 - 900 ohms, but read several thousand ohms. Put the new one it and the car started right up. Will watch it for a couple days but looks like we got it this time. Will let you all know if we have any further problems. This is the first real problem we've had with the car so are still happy with it.
