HIgh Idle and Cooling fan

I have a 92 Saturn that has a high idke that can be remedied temporarily by disconnecting the battery and then reconnecting it.

The cooling fan stays on all the time even when the engine is cold.

The local repair shops have taken a stab at it and my wallet and been only successful at eliminating my cash.

I am thinking this is obviously a technical problem that might include dealership TSB's but dont have time to fool with dealers.

Does anyone have any suggestions

No help, but hope you get some. My '92 has just started idling really high. It makes a faint humming noise when you press the gas, too. My speed also stays when I take my foot off the gas. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it, too!

In the aftermarket manual (Chilton's or Clymer's)there is a test for this to determine the cause. It seems that this is very common. I had the opposite problem with my 92 it would run at all, and when it did it blew the fuse.
