i was talking to my friend the other day and she mentioned that her friend owned a wsrx. since i've never heard of a wsrx, i asked her about it. she said that it was a subaru, so i naturally thought of the wrx. but apparently the guy who owned the subaru was insulted when she called it a wrx. it even LOOKED like a wrx (according to her.) so is there actually a wsrx? or is this guy just clueless?

Are you sure she isn't confused and doesn't own a 2.5 RS?

first of all, it isn't her car so i guess she could be wrong. but she seemed pretty knowledgeble about at least the make and models out there (probably not any of the technical details though) so if she said her friend claimed it was a wsrx, i wouldn't doubt her.

i suppose it could be a 2.5 RS. but how is calling it a wrx by accident an insult? it'd be like me being insulted every time someone assumed i had the v6 accord (yes, i have a ghetto inline4 accord lx coupe. but at least its stick  ). i guess the simplest answer would be that he's just ignorant..

Yeah, I'd guess he's ignorant. Even if you go to www.subaru.co.jp there isn't anything called a "WSRX". Look it up on google, you'll find nothing. In other words, whoops.

Does she mean WRX-STI? Someone might be 'insulted' for calling an WRX-STI a WRX.

Maybe it's a 2.5RS with a WRX conversion?

Who knows, it could be a frigging flying saucer too, but it sure ain't a Subaru if it's a WSRX......

maybe it's an SRX. It was an older subaru coupe from the late eighties early nineties I think.

do u mean SVX?

That sounds more like it. Especially if it's of the era now being stated.

Then again, since when did the SVX and ANY generation of Impreza look even remotely similar?
