i used to be over in the 119th & switzer area... now i'm married and have a house on the MO side down in South KC... still rollin 135th & quivira whenever i get a chance.:smoka:

I don't live in KCMO anymore, but I lived at Valentine and SW Trafficway for 4 months last year. I bet I spotted a number of you on my commute to UMKC (in a green mommy van! *lol*)

I still miss the Plaza for shopping! ;)

It wasn't exactly my car... but I did take it out to Liberty, MO a couple times!!!! I still miss parts of KC. Muddy's coffeeshop was the greatest! UMB bank's ATMs were a pain, though...

For those of you in MO/KS... Watch out for the Ozark Mtn. People! :eek: *lol* :hehehe:

hey, i'm glad you liked the site... did you try to post? you should sign in... al you have to do is try to post and it will send me an email, i'll aprove it then you'll be able to post, and you can post whether you're a member of GroupOne or not... if you're interested in being in the actual car club it doesn't take much (just 2 major mods) and we'll help you get them through the club sponsors if you need them... and even if you don't qualify to be a member yet, you can stil chill with the Group... we've got a few guys that are workin toward their goals right now.

anyway, we may not be rollin in full effect this weekend, a few of our cars are being worked on... but i think the Supra and the 2K1 Civic will be out... and maybe a couple of our members that are gonna be up from Springfield... everybody's getting ready for this summer's show circuit.

yo whats the deal fellas....im kinda new to this thang.....i have a 91 accord 4dr wit few mods. Its my daily driver and its far from looking the way i want it to....if any one can help id more than happy to listen to suggestions.Im in need of some mechanical work, I need struts all around(I want aftermarket,but im clueless as to what brand to get),I also want to slam it,but i dunno where to begin:confused:

sup man, good to hear from ya... where in KC are you? i'm in South KC now but used to be out in Overland Park. if you need tips on the ride you definitely came to the right place... AutomotiveForums has all kinds of people and some of them really know they're stuff. for what you're looking for i would check out the technical forums listed on the main Honda/Acura AF page... when/if you're ready for exterior mods i could definitely steer you in a whole lot of different directions and even have a guy in my crew that used to have a fully-kitted, dropped 91 Accord that was pretty freakin quick that might be able to help you out. speaking of which, if you're interested inn going a lot further with your car (such as competitions) then my crew might be able to help you out a whole lot! anyway, this has been long enough... nuff said. WELCOME.

you should drop into the GroupOne forum... here's how:
go to www.ezboard.com and register a 'global' account (don't worry, it's free), then go to our forum (the link is below in my signature) and try to post... when you do that it will say that you have to 'apply'... do that. it will send me a quick notification that you want in... i 'okay' it and it sends you an email telling you that you're in...

p.s. also "brians97accordSE" (fellow AF member) is also an up-and-coming soon to be GroupOne in KC member with his new 92 Qualude and as seen in the post below, he has knowledge of accords as well.

hey fellas....i think the thing ima do next is put on some skunk2 coilovers and slam it cause right now my suspension feels shot, but first i need to know if these are worth the penny or should i invest in something else, like struts first? i found the skunk2's for $259.95 for the set,but i also found a set of ground controls for $308.99 which would be better....money is an issue right now, im waiting on my tax return:lol2: help me out someone:D

i'd say get the coilovers... skunk2 seems to be aight too... i might suggest getting adjustable coilovers... you should try posting this issue in the... oh wait, i see you already did. you should get all kinds of feedback from the wheels/tires/suspension forum... most of it will be helpful...
