How do I get the heat shield off. I see the two noticable bolts at the top, but heard other people having a bitch of a time getting them off.

Mine was so rusted that i just ripped it off.....i think there is one bolt on each corner you have to take off though....kinda cramped in there to get a wrench on it but wont be that big a deal i dont think

Theres one in the middle. You probably have to take your A/C fan out and maybe the radiator out to get to it.

Spray the bolts with penetrating & let soak over night, WD-40 would be the last choice. When it comes time to remove, do it when its HOT & the bolts should come out, just watch out - those parts are VERY HOT(nothing like slipping, then cutting & burning your hand in the same spot). If at all possible, its best to use some kind of heat shielding on the e.manifold or header since it does sit right next to the thing(radiator) that is meant to keep your engine cooler. Exhaust manifolds can get hot enough to light a cigarette & if you have a short-ram intake your pulling in all that HOT air which makes you even slower.
