what does it mean when you can shift gears without using the clutch?
cause my car does it in every gear.

j/k if you are seriously saying you can shift without pressing down the clutch in means your clutch is so worn out than its going to die any second now.

everyone should be able to shift without using the clutch, but its not good for the tranny

Any manual transmission with synchros can be shifted without using the clutch. If done correctly its fine for the transmission's & actually less wear on the clutch.
Now if your cruising @ 50mph in 4th & nail it, then your car sounds like its going fast, but actually hardly moving - that means your clutch is worn & slipping.
Auto trans would not be possible without clutches.

I can upshift and downshift all the gears fine. Sometimes I get a bad grinding sound but if I do it right it goes in very fast and smoothly.

Just don't do it into 1st gear, not even with the clutch unless hardly moving. Thats exactly how it should go fast(not too fast) & smooth with very little pressure. You should not feel any resistance or a nice little grind will occur.
If you want to get real serious about it, you could have every other tooth ground off on each gear. The only problem with that is it may pop out gear when not on the gas, so you have to hold it in gear.

ARE YOU SURE? CAUSE ITS MY BACK UP CAR AND IT JUST GOT A NEW CLUTCH REPLACED CAUSE TYHE OLD ONE WENT OUT, ITS NOT SLIPPING AT ALL AND GO'S INTO EVERY GEAR VERY EASILY, AS EASY AS PUSHING IN THE CLUTCH AND SHIFTING. ITS CRAZY

ive done it on both hondas i own, from experience its best to be at a certain or be above a certain rpm and as your pulling it to the next gear it will go right it and as for downshifting take it out of gear rev up and then downshift and it should go in without any grinding
