they might have shortened his stopping distance , but his heat disipation went to hell. haha you cant get going that fast anyways when my fat a$$ is in the car. :finger:

are you talking about heat displacement?
anyways, i would think that vented or slotted rotors do not heat up as fast as stock ones do.

they don't or shouldn't anyways, I used to have cross drills on my 3rd gen...works great( I had brembo discs)...now I want to put them on my 5th gen...They do improve on stoping distances but they don't heat up as fast! love racing on the highway knowing you got good brakes! :D

yeah the stoppin distance improved and the heat does disapate when i'm alone in the corners but with my usual 425lbs of passengers(two guys not just steve) it kinda goes away and dips on application
gettin sideways seems to be a prob STILL i gotta get the rear sway bar and upper strut brace
i found a turbo(used) but finances keep my from persuing the idea

94accord1g was trying to figure it out but couldnt. i have a pic of his ride but its not that good. this was taken at night at a gas station in burbank during a niglet meet a couple of months ago obviously seeing as how all niglets were banned from ph due to post whoring, can you belive that. well here it is

heat disipation is an objects ability to remove heat due to its properties,eg.materrial its made of, size, and density.
putting 9 coats of 1500 dergee paint creates a barrier that holds that heat in. the rotors are great but th3ey do not disapate all the heat, it is transfered through the pads and into the calipers also.:D

do not buy PowerSlot rotors, they garbage :dogpile: . i have them on 6gen and 5gen and both warped.

Done a couple of minor things since this pic all red tails, "H" less grill, 35% tint on my side windows and just waiting for spring to lower it

-Universal Muffler: Dragger (looove it)
-Underground blue neon effects (heh, don't work anymore...gotta look at wiring again)
-RAM air intake (suppost to pass smog test..I dunno whats the name of it. I heard it was some PNP or something with P)
-Tangoo or Tanzoo lowering racing springs (dunno if its either one)
Superwhite lowbeam with bluish tint (Dot approved, no thank you cops)
-12 inch Orion XTR sub sitting in my trunk waiting for its new owner to come and pickup. :) FInally some that thing for $70 while I got it for free...why not make $ off it? hehe

Nice Accord StarChild. Have you consider red/clear tail lights and clear or black headlight housing? I think that would make it look even sweeter. :D

Here's Project VTiSR, aka "Selena," love of my life. :)) She's a '94 VTi-S (Bose 6spkr sound, leather trim, 2.2 VTEC, powered everything, cruise, ABS, SRS) bought purely for the purpose of modifying.

As I'm a newbie to all this, could anyone give me suggestions as to how I should start modding her, both for appearance and performance? I'm after a clean, "pretty" look, rather than aggressive and sporty... but wanna get the donk to do about 220kW (I'm thinking supercharged rather than turboed).

hey accorddriver 00 you and i have the same car!!!...no but seriously, did you say you cleared your taillights, as in removed the yellow and pinkish stripping from the inside of the taillights??!!...how did you separate the taillights from the black backing withouth breaking them?...i have been trying but it is too hard for me i guess....i had on altezzas but with my solid black projector housing the red tails look better, i would like to have the red and white, but i can't get inside to clear out the yellow...any help would be appreciated.
