so what does everyone think???? PLEASE TELL ME
beautiful work. i like how the front turned out very symetrical. but theres two things that bug me. 3 actually. the wheels, the front looks a little too bulky for the rest of the car (sharper lines would have been a tiny bit better, or less roundness on the bottom lip). and the car is in dire need of side/rear skirts.
i fink she's naked.
but other than that.. beautiful work. i cant even do that. but with your skill you should have thought about doing that is all im saying :)

I think its sweet, except the car does need something, just a lil lip around the sides and the back should help out.

ok for the last time everyone IM NOT USING THESE WHEELS! anyway, i was going to put side skirts and a new back bumper but i decided against it for style reasons maybe nextime:uhoh:??Though i agree side skirts and a new back bumper would look super nice! Thanks for all the comments though, PS i put on 3 coats of clear this past weekend, and by the end of this weekend i'll have it polished an' lovely (hopefully). O yeah do you like the exhaust?

I actually like the wheels. I think the stock rims look nice and robust; good rims for drifting. You could use them, but I think everyone complains about the front wheel because (this is a guess) you put a peice of plastic all the way around the rear one to make it a deep dish, and which increased the diameter of the wheel and stretched the rear tire when you replaced it. The front tire is on the stock diameter rim, and so the sidewall is thicker. A simple fix would be to put a peice of plastic around the rim, like a deep dish, but cut it flush to the rim. That would stretch the tire the same and make the sidewalls between the two match.
And I like your exhaust, it looks good but.... huge. If you check out this here (http://www.eautoworks.com/html/ord-auto~performance-HKS~Exhaust~System-1-5111.htm) link, you can see what I'm talking about. See how that muffler ends about halfway down the fuel tank? It's a generally good rule to make mufflers about the same size as the stock one you are replacing, and usually smaller even. Next time you see a tricked out little car, look under its butt, mufflers are amazingly small.
And besides that, this car is rockin'.

I agree with that, but I say use the stock rims and just leave the lips chrome and do the spokes in gunmental or black, that'd be sweet.

ah i see what you mean now about the exhaust:iceslolan! Thanks it helps. I'll keep this in mind for my next car. I now understand about the wheels, but i'm still gonna use some aftermarket ones. But if i did use these they would be painted gunmetal or black!

I say spray gunmetal over the chrome directly, it looks amazing if you do it just right.

Huh? Is Tein a secret product that only a few people know about? I admit they're cool and all, but I don't think they warrant such hoopla you make for it, certainly no more than maybe Nuespeed or Tokico of H&R or Eibach or Tanabe Koni. And, since Tein is a brand that makes many different types of parts, wouldn't it be "Wow someone here knows who Tein is?"

Just to verify to who ever does not know whut TEIN's are, TEIN is a well know japanese company that makes racing suspension. If you are into alot of imports and road racing you should know whut TEIN's are... TEIN's come in diff kinds of suspensions. TEIN Basic Damper, SS, HA, HR, FLEX, N1. All the prices may vary from the Basic Damper $700- $1800. N1 would be the best and the most money. N1 is just practically for pure racing and not soposed to be street driven.
My bro has the SS (Super Street) TEIN's and there $1000, its about the nicest ride u could want.

Well here it is, i'm starting to lose hope on this model i duno why, but here it is before final polish after clears and compound. These pictures are mildly crummy it doesn't catch how shiny it actually is nor does it capture the real color of the hood:grinno:. So next is final body details and front suspension assembly then wheels and windown and seats.

Why are you losing hope? The model looks great and seems to be coming together quite nicely. I for one will be very disappointed if you give up on it. C'mon, finish the pretty little thing.

Well the problem is little things have been going wrong, the clear coat was real bad, i still can't seem to remove some scratches on the trunk, the tailight split into 2, still don't have wheels/ seats, shattered my jar of semi gloss black on the floor when i was about to start on the front suspension, but i will eventually fix all these problems and nothing is serious its just frustrating!:banghead: but i will finish it once i get my HLJ order! (hopefully within a week) so give me a week or two and keep looking out for updates!
