I have a 2000 impala and once paid $45.00 to have it done at the dealership.

Read the manual, it clearly explains how to add / reprogram keyless entry remotes.

You can download the manuals for free on the 'naioa' website... Go into their forum section and then to the knowledge database... In there you will find a posting with links to all the Impala owners manuals...

or you can do it by changing the battery in the remote and resetting the program through the radio. after replacing battery, hold the lock and unlock buttons for 7 seconds.
