idle problem - '96 SL1

My idle speed consistantly fluctuates between 600 and 1000 RPM regardless of engine temp. Any idea what the problem is?

Also, in regards to general maintenance, it has 109k and still runs great (except for the idle issue). I am great with oil changes and tune ups, but is there anything I should do to keep in running for another 100k?

do you have cams.......that could have somthing to do with idle.......as far as another 100k goes, you are about to run it to limit as is........I have seen very few Satty's surpass the 125k mark........just keep up the oil changes and tune ups
