MPFI Idle Problems

Hi,

I finsihed my MPFI swap and everything runs fine.
It idles nice and I double checked my wiring and its all soldered and on there good.
However I think I am missing the Fast Idle Temp Solenoid, its on the back of the manifold.
Where 2 10mm bolts go. It has 3 holes that suck air.
When I cover the holes up with a piece of cardboard the car idles right.
When I take the cardboard off and leave it uncovered the car idles at 2000.
Also, another problem is the car will only rev up to 3000 RPM then limit it.
It just bounces back and fourth.
Also the throttle response is slow. Like when you hit the gas it hesitates then revs up.

I am pretty sure I have dont everything right.
It starts like a dream.
