I was changing the oil in my D15B2 and when I took off the oil filter there was NO oil in it. I have never seen this before. Have you? What could the problem be and how do I fix it???

its called find the magical leak.
1) is the block covered with an oil/grease residue, if so follow it to see where the leak is.
2) check your radiator fluid and make sure its green and not like mud, if muddy its all in you radiator and your head gasket is gone.
3) it may be leaking oout your valve cover gasket
4) I'm not sure if it has an engine oil cooler, if it does, your o-rings might be gone, (I'll look more into this for sure)
5) you just ran out. so check your oil everytime you fill up with gas is a good policy. that way you have a good idea how much your losing every 300 miles.

There was oil in it when I started the oil change, maybe 1/2 quart low though. It had the head rebuilt 2 months ago, so new head gasket, new valve cover gasket. I can't see any leaking. Radiator fluid is clean, no problems there. :banghead:

Did the oil drip when removing the filter?

No dripping. There was just a little oil around the rubber seal and that was it. It looked like there might have been a teaspoon worth of oil in the filter, at most.
