Timing belt broke?

there is some oil located all over the firewall in the engine bay as well.

Take a flashlight and see if you can look at the back of the block. See if there is a large leak or if you can see any external damage. Then get under the car and check there. Also drain your remaining oil and see if there are any foreign objects in the oil. You can also take off the oil pan and check to see what kind of condition the bottom end is in.

My VW did that... It just got so hot. HAHA, I seized it right up! :p

that's EXACTLY what happened to my 90 CRX DX. We still have the piece of the block that was blown out :P

Sounds like you threw a rod out the back of the back of the motor. If you're lucky, the head is salvageable.

man that sucks... it totally sounds like you threw a rod out. What did you have in it, i cant remember if you had swapped or not.

You can get a B16 shortblock for like $500. Just swap all the parts over.

How does somethin like that just happen ? I mean, did you like forget to add oil? Were you redlining?

If you're talkin about the ls motor yes. If you're talkin about the gsr motor no. You will need to get it converted to obd1 or 2 depending which year you get. You will need the cable trans or unless you wanna get the cable to hydro conversion.
