Bleck, I just read NJ's driving law...theres a course you can take at 16, but the instructor has to buy your permit thing, and then he keeps it unless you're practice driving. At your 17th b-day, its good for another 9 months or so, but you can take your road test on or after your 17th b-day. Still restricted to "practice" driving with only a licensed driver of 3 years can be with you. At 18 it doesnt matter. License, anyone.
I hope this shit goes back to the way it was before Jan. 1, 2001 :( If not, at least change some of it to be nicer to us younger people who sadly couldnt be 16 on or before 1-1-01!! :mad:
