ZC head parts? (this post)
do 88-89 integra cylinder head parts fit a zc i.e valve springs/stems/ seats etc... i want to know cause my ZC was blowing blue smoke when it idled and it used up quite a bit of oil. Now im not ruling out the PCV valve or the piston rings but if it were the head could you use 88-89 integra parts?>

If I did my research right, then the Dohc ZC uses a6 top and teg bottom, I know you can get everything for that engine *except* valvetrain. You can have your valvetrain professionaly bored/fitted to an LS engine, but that will cost hella $$$. You can then buy performance valvetrain. Here is a badass ZC site that gives a lot of useful info.

I do know that the bottom end is from an A6 and the top is from an 88-89 teg,.......

The Teg Head A6 bottom end only really has to do with the parts in them, they are by no means the exact same thing. Then again the cams, cam gears, and valve cover on a Teg aren't the same as a ZC and I'm sure a lot of the other parts aren't.

i too have heard that the LS valvetrain can be fitted into the ZC, but i've compared my LS side to side with a ZC and the LS is a couple inches wider.. i dont see how it would fit.

You can't. You'll have to check ebay for a new head or talk to someone in Japan.
