yes vw has gotten the point and in 2004 the 2.0 will make 150 hp, the new 20v 2.0 turbo will get 200 hp, the vr6 will make 250 hp, the V6 turbo will get 300 hp (r32). so just keep you sky-high egos until next year when we VW people will be spankin your, as a honda person put it, GAYDM wanna be hondas

wow this thread IS pretty bad. for my opinion, not like you guys care anyways, but i like both companies. like someone posted earlier, i'd take a honda cuz it's cheap, reliable, and CAPABLE of being fast (dont confuse that w/ BEING FAST out the box, cuz frankly MOST honda's are not). i do however like volkswagon's style and they ARE somewhat fast in their own right. and although i think the two VW people posting are kinda acting like punks, i do agree on the fact that there ARE fast, reliable VW's. old school VDUBS can rock a lot of cars out there. anyways i hope i didn't offend anyone. just my thoughts. its freakin 5 am and im on my third day w/ no sleep. YAY!!!!

When I first read it, I was thinking "This is too good to be true!" and it turns out it was. Just thought you'd like to know before you use those stats and the wrond person catches it. S2KR would be a kick ass car though. The original is kick ass already!
As my last statement, I would like to say that I do agree with what R81Civic said in general. The NSX AND S2K are some potent performers especially for N/A vehicles!

The article was 100% believable. Whoever wrote it did a damn good job. There were a lot of crucial details in there, but not so many that it would seem like they were trying too hard to make you believe. I almost had to change my shorts after reading it, but then I was looking at the link picture and saw the disclaimer. I wanted to cry.:crying: :disappoin

but my VW cost me $2500 and after the end of this semester
ill be putting on this sweet custom T setup to go along with the stuff i have on there already
and for a total cost of WAY under 10K, its gonna be a pretty much untouchable car through the corners
so if any drivers in MD wanna come out and take a shot at a "Hitler-mobile" as you guys have been saying, then write back so we can set up a time
i have nothing against civics and imports and such, but when you start bashin the vw's, even though the new ones are over-priced ill give you that, i kinda take it personally :)
