Winter Tires

I ordered an STi, and I have winter tires that i used on my old infiniti. I'm afraid that the winter wheels will not fit over the big brembo brakes, so I was wondering if you guys could help me out by possibly doing some research or something and finding out if it will fit on my STi.
It is a Borbet Type VS
The size is 17", and tirerack.com doesn't offer the 17" option anymore, but the STi wheels are 17" also, so I figured it might fit.
thanks

Unless the bolt pattern on the rims you have matches the bolt pattern on the STI, no amount of research is going to make the rims fit the hubs, regardless of whether they fit over the disks or not.
The restricting factor is the bolt pattern.

You wont need them yet, just wait till it comes and try them out.

I have the same issue, looking for a set of wheels with winter tires.
Don't need to be performance package just to get around in snow.
(considering Enkei CDR9 17x7.5 with Michelin Pilot Alpine).
Anybody has any experience with it? Or place to buy them?
(tiretrack is not helpfull for the Sti).

The big problem with a wheel swap is brake caliper clearance. In most cases, even if the bolt pattern (5 x 100) is correct, the spokes of the wheel won't clear the caliper. AFAIK, Tire rack only has one wheel (ASA, an offshoot of BBS) that will clear the calipers.
I have acess to a wheel mounting and balancing machine, so I'll just be swapping the tires on the stock wheels.
