STI off the line

i was just wondering what a STI out of the box could run off the line... in dry conditions on a drag strip. any info would be of great help.

say....1.7-1.8 0-60ft times...with good launch. Chirping wheels at that too.

Assuming you're refering to the WRX STi they usually run high 13's to low 14's depending on the driver's abilities.

SCC clocked the USDM Sti at 13.1 I think.

I've yet to see one run that sort of time even with simple mods like big bore, and pod filter. Mind you our track here is alike racing on wet snot.

Car and Driver got 13.2 and 4.6 0-60
