i heard someone on here talking about dropping in a 1.5 liter jdm vtec engine into his 4g and i was wondering if anyone could tell me more info about it would it be worth the swap, cause my curent plans are a very distant zc, b16a, or b18 non vtec. i'm just lookin for more info here because i know there are a lot of jdm engines and i was just wondering how that one panned out.

Later model engine and not worth it as the D15 twin-carb from the 4thgen in JDM spec is almost as good. Not worth your time or effort as there are a lot better engines to get. Don't get hung-up on VTEC. It's a wannabe thing - it's good, but not that good and will be totally owned by a non-VTEC with turbo any day of the week and twice on Sundays.

in europe there is a d15 with 3 stages of vtec that makes 129hp and gets 54mpg!
